NURSERY
Our outdoor nursery is designed for children aged 3-5 years, providing them with ample opportunities to connect with each other and the natural world. Each session is spent mostly outdoors, fostering social connections and a love for nature. Rather than following a rigid schedule, we tailor each session to the children’s needs and weather conditions, ensuring a flexible and responsive learning environment.
SESSIONS
Sessions are available term-time Monday to Friday from 8-6. Parents can choose from mornings, afternoons or all day sessions and for as many sessions or combinations as you wish.
We offer a free two hour settling session, further settling will be staggered and staff will support both parents and children to aid your child’s settling should that be needed. We also have an open gate policy, allowing parents to visit anytime, except during busy handover periods, to see our nurturing environment firsthand.
HOLIDAY CAMPS
As we operate term-time only we do offer Summer and Easter camps, please note this is subject to staff availability during the holidays and demand for these spaces is high. These sessions will be announced on our facebook page, so make sure you follow for the latest updates.
WEATHERPROOFING
For our outdoor nursery, we recommend high-quality PU material waterproofs like Didriksons or equivalent, consisting of a two-piece set with dungaree-style trousers and a hooded jacket. Typically, children will need at least two sets if enrolled for two years, with more active children possibly requiring additional sets. We offer new sets, including Didriksons mittens and hats, at cost price, subject to availability. Alternatively, parents can provide their own.
HEALTHY SNACKS
We provide healthy snacks and drinks for the children during both the morning and afternoon sessions. If your child brings their own lunch we ask that you provide this with a cool pack inside an insulated lunch bag, and all food should be healthy and nut free.
